Location
The JEDI region is affordable and accessible. Located in Central Alberta, the JEDI region consists of the County of Wetaskiwin, Town of Millet, and City of Wetaskiwin.
Strategically located between Edmonton and Calgary on the Highway 2 corridor within a 30 minute drive to the Edmonton International Airport, this region provides an easy commute to and from Edmonton as well as an hour's drive to Red Deer and a two and a half hour drive to Calgary.
The JEDI region is in close proximity to major education institutions such as the University of Alberta, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Grant MacEwan College, Augustana College, and Red Deer College. The region is also home to NorQuest College.
Transportation
No matter what your mode of transportation, trave to and from the JEDI region is smooth and efficient.
Ground transportation includes excellent access to Highway 2, 2A, 13, and 22 leading to all other Alberta and Canadian highways. The region also has main line CP Rail access.
Air passenger and cargo transportation is available at the Edmonton International Airport (and Port Alberta) as well as at the Wetaskiwin certified local airport.
Labour Force
